Skype Answering Machine

I'm wondering if anyone has used this free program called Skype Answering Machine? They say it's screenreader accessible but I can't really figure out how to use it. I did pay for regular voicemail on Skype but it's a bitch to use with Windows. So if I use SAM will it pick up even when I have Skype off or will my usual voicemail get it? I don't want to have any problems down the road when I'm on theMaccause I can check it fine from there.

I think it only works well the computer that has the program is on.
Is it a kishkishprogram?
